I am drawn to his mind

An image of the silhouette of a man's head, with different watercolors coming from it, one looking like a heart, to go with my post about being drawn to my husband's mind.

I am joining in with others – Mrs Jones and Marriage Sex and More – to answer Brigit Delaney’s 30 Dirty Questions. As Brigit said:

These questions will all be about sex in some way and will be the sorts of questions that get a the core of a person’s desires, fears, and experiences. The sorts of questions that could really help you get to know another person.

~ Brigit Delaney

I think these questions serves not only to let you get to know the other person, but also to get you to think about your own preferences, desires, and dislikes.

Question 7: What parts of your lover’s body are you most drawn to? (If you don’t currently have a lover, feel free to consider past or future lovers.)

I’m sure by now you all know my husband is the love of my life, since I have repeated it on this site so many times. It’s an interesting question – which parts of his body I am the most drawn to.

Slender build

Master T is a man with a slender build, and ever since the problems with his stump started back in 2016, he hasn’t been steady on his feet. At the beginning of 2017 he started using a walking stick to aid him in his balance, and he still walks with it. He will probably do so the rest of his life. Because of his slender built and unsteady frame, it’s quite easy to knock him over. Not that I have ever done it, but I always watch that I don’t accidentally bump into him, and when we are in the shopping center, I always keep an eye on others. If someone would bump into him, he can easily fall.

He always wears jeans and a long-sleeved shirt – always Paul & Shark, his favorite brand. Because of his prosthetic, he will never walk barefoot, something I do as much as I can in warmer temperatures. His shoes are always black, and even though he sometimes held brown shoes in his hand, he always ends up buying black shoes.

Glasses, moustache, beard

Just like me, he wears glasses, but unlike me, he had them for most of his life, as he can hardly see without them. When I got to know him, his hair was dark blond and somewhat longer, and he had a beard and a moustache. None of this, except for his hair, has changed. He now wears his hair much shorter – I ‘millimeter’ it every eight weeks.

I have never seen Master T without a beard and moustache, and I don’t think I ever will. I don’t even want to. I can’t for one minute imagine him without it. And, the beard is a constant element of fun between the two of us. He has this thing where if I touch his beard, he smooths it down with one hand, in exaggerated movements, and it always makes me laugh. It makes me laugh even harder when he has just smoothed it down, and I pull his beard again, or run my fingers through it, deliberately messing up the model. He would love his moustache to be longer, but I want to see his mouth so he keeps it shorter.

My favorite parts of his body

I have never really stopped to think about what parts of his body are my favorites, so questions like these help with that.

His bottom

Many times when he walks by, or we are together in a room and he has his back to me, I think: damn, you have a nice bum. Some people’s bums are flat, others are like me, where the bottoms are really round. And his? Well his is just right. It’s not flat at all, but definitely not as round as mine. It’s there and totally in balance with his slender body. And I love to grab his bum and squeeze it, something that always evokes some funny remark from him.

His hands

Master T’s hands are barely bigger than mine, but his fingers are somewhat longer, and just like his body, his hands are slender. I love his hands, and I can’t explain why. I just love them. I especially loved them (and sometimes hated them a bit) when he spanked me, as they sting quit a bit, and I think it’s because they are smaller. Just a theory on my side.

His mind

The one thing of Master T I love the most, is his mind. He’s a smart man, who has a lot of knowledge on a wide range of subjects, and he keeps his mind active by reading a lot. He’s very much into financial things, and loves history. Reading and keeping his mind active is even more important now, after the stroke. We definitely see the effect the stroke had on him, as he sometimes has to search for the right word, or words don’t form clearly the way they had in the past. This is even more noticeable when he’s tired.

But, Master T is not only clever, he’s also witty, and can sometimes make me double over with laughter when he has one of his funny remarks.

If I have to choose one element of his body I am the most attracted to, without doubt I will choose his mind!

  1. I loved reading this, Marie! Your love for this man comes through in every word you write about him. My husband also has a beard and mustache… I love running my fingers through it and I cannot imagine him without it, though 20 years ago he wore it much shorter.
