Ruling the ruler

A black and white image of my naked breast with a ruler resting under it. Image taken by my husband.

A straight back, hands behind her back, she stood naked in the middle of the room. Somewhere behind her, he rummaged through their toy bag.

The mmm rolling from his lips promised no good for her.

Several bolts of pain ignited her bottom cheeks. Only a sigh escaped her lips, as she knew any sound would mean more of the same.

When he rested the ruler under her breast, she understood: the pain in her bottom was nothing compared to what would follow. Lightly he tapped the nipple.

“Ready?”

Bracing herself, she nodded.

A nipple – her nipple – ached in suspense.

Writing a story of exactly 100 words is quite a challenge. It’s a great exercise, as it forces you to look critically at what you have written, and dares you to keep to the essence of your story. 1. That EXTRA CHALLENGE was harder than it seemed. I had to revise a few times to get there. It’s so damn easy to start with a pronoun. I’ll come up with another challenge for next week. Love the last line on this!

    1. I love that you put additional challenges in there. Might not be able to do them every time, but I am definitely going to try 🙂
