My eyes still closed, the longing first entered my awareness. A moan escaped my mouth when I clenched my legs together, and I instantly opened my eyes.
I was alone.
Alone in the silence, the ear plugs keeping the world out.
I wanted to sleep more, but was also desperate to quench the thirst. Soon I turned on my side, a toy trapped between my legs, covering my clit. I hovered in a state between sleep and wake, while my body ached for release.
Nipples hard, I moaned and moved against the toy until an orgasm finally woke me up.
Writing a story of exactly 100 words is quite a challenge. It’s a great exercise, as it forces you to look critically at what you have written, and dares you to keep to the essence of your story. Great Flash Marie – I agree about the 100 word flash – it is a great challenge. I do love writing flash fiction anyhow. 100 words is quite tricky but i will try for next saturday night fever

Oh I would love if you joined me in the 100-word challenge. It’s fun to do, and teaches you so much! xox
A great way to start the day! Very nice work on the flash fiction, it’s a challenge but you make it seem easy 🙂

I love doing them. They make me really pay attention to every word. I do like some of them better than others 😉 xox
Hot Marie! And love the photo! Happy Valentines Day!
Thanks, Mike, and Happy Valentine’s to you too!
Challenge accepted.
Longing
You just left the car.
I feel empty. Half of me just left.
I was wondering when I last
Felt whole on my own.
Was it when I was 16?
No, I was searching even then.
Was it at 22 when I was freshly minted graduate and on my own?
No, I was lost and wandering. Trying whichever girl or woman would let my shoes rest on their floor.
Searching hearts that weren’t yours.
I lost track of the numbers that went before.
Now there is only one.
That longing, that search, is over.
Now, our souls are whole.

Ok you said a story, musings are easy. Let me work on that…..
Marie, you are a great muse.
I love what you have written here, David. Please do try the 100-word stories. They really teach you so much about writing only what matters for the story. Thank you for your nice comment 🙂
David – I love this flash!

I have tried to write in 100 words for flash fiction before and you are right that it is SO difficult. I am way too wordy but I loved your little flash. Great picture too – double flash. Have I missed another project from Mrs Fever? I must follow the badge and see. Missy x
I love the challenge a 100-word story gives me. I am editing it over and over until only the most important words remain xox
That looks like a delightful little buzz ball. 🙂
(And orgasms are always a nice thing to wake up to.)
This toy still is one of my absolute favorites!
