Doc Johnson iRide Sit On G-Spot Dual Motor Vibrator

I have been in contact with Mindful for quite some time, when we agreed that I would do some product reviews for them. I browsed their site, and came across the Doc Johnson iRide, which looked like an intriguing toy. I’m always looking for something different to review, and not just the readily available wand and clitoral vibrators, and was excited to receive this toy from Mindful.

Who is Mindful?

Packaging & Contents & Shape ‘n Size & Material

Since this is quite a large toy, the box it comes in is big too. The bright pink toy is visible through a ‘window’ in the box. The toy itself is boat-shaped, with a dildo protrusion and a ‘bump’ for clitoral stimulation. The length of the toy is 35 centimeters, the width is 14 centimeters, and the insertable length of the dildo is 9.5 centimeters. The toy is made of plastic and TPR/TPE, and works with 4x AA batteries, which are not included in the packaging. The total weight of the iRide is 1.3 kilograms.

How does it work?

Once you have inserted the batteries, you can switch the toy on by pushing one of the two buttons on the front. One button turns on the vibrations in the dildo, and the other turns on those in the clitoral nub. Pushing those buttons again changes the intensity of the vibrations. Both the dildo and the clitoral nub have three vibration intensities each.

My experience with & opinion of the product

To be honest, at first I was disappointed that the toy works with batteries, but the toy has been around for quite some time. It’s on me that I only discovered it now! I pushed one of the buttons to start the toy, and was instantly startled by the noise. It turned out to be the clitoral nub vibrations, and they were quite loud. The vibrations for the dildo part was much quieter.

I was still excited to try it, and after thoroughly cleaning the toy, I was ready to try it. Once in position — inserted — I pushed the first button and felt the vibrations inside. They were quite pleasurable. I switched on the clitoral nub and was actually surprised that now the noise wasn’t as much. I ran through the vibrations, trying to find the combination that would work for me. However, my clitoris wasn’t happy with me. I changed position to see if it feels more comfortable, but had to change position again. Where the vibrations inside felt good, and so did the vibrations on my clit, the toy was just too hard to sit on it for a while. After a couple of minutes I gave up, as it just got too uncomfortable.

If this toy had been softer, I am sure it would have been incredibly exciting to use, as it is meant to give you orgasms without using your hands. I would like to see this toy renewed, to have it made of safer materials, but also ‘upgrade’ it where it has a USB charger, and a softer base to sit on. The hard plastic is just too much.

Where to buy?

Where this toy is not available at all sex stores, you can still order the Doc Johnson iRide from Mindful for the price of 126 US dollars.
