A sign of belonging

A sign of belonging —
to some ‘just a tattoo’.
It’s all about giving,
and the things we go through.

We keep things in balance
between the hard and the soft.
The connection so happens,
never to make us feel lost.

I trace the lines of the ring,
Thinking of us, of you.
You’ll always be my king,
the one I belong to.

Half of me, all of me…

  1. Very sexy picture and I have always liked your tattoo. We have talked about getting something too and HL would like me to but it is hard to find something which feels right. Yours is beautiful and I enjoyed your words too ?

    1. Thank you, Missy. I know how difficult it is to find something that feels right, and I hope you do 🙂

  2. All tattoos mean something, some more than others, I’ve always liked yours, Marie. I just discovered my granddaughter has a tattoo. Nice one too.

    1. You are right, all tattoos mean something. Cool that your granddaughter has a tattoo! What did she get?

  3. Beautiful ink and words.
Before our first anniversary we already shared ink on our skin. She is my balance as well.

  4. Every time I see your tattoo I like it a little bit more. It caught my eye the very first time I saw it and I felt a bit jealous! It’s so pretty and I love the symbolism.

  5. I love the tat. My Queen was going to have me get an ownership tattoo but nothing I showed her appealed for her. She also thinks that if something happens to her a future partner of mine might not like to see her name. Personally I still want to do it, but have been told “no”. So for now I’ll keep thinking about what I want. Maybe one day….

    1. I personally would never go for a name either, because you never know what happens in life and if indeed there might be a future partner. Master T and I were quite quick to agree on the design of this tattoo 🙂
I hope you get yours one day!

    2. Michael have you thought of finding an image or totem creature that represents your Queen or relationship that she might approve?
