As I sit here, drinking my first cup of tea of the day, I look out the window in front of me, see the beautiful blue sky, the glorious sunshine, the world turning a bit greener every day, and it just feels surreal to think about the world out there — those fighting for their lives and losing the fight, those who have fought and are now recovering, those who have lost loved ones, or know their loved ones might pass today, tomorrow, next week, those who know they have tested positive, and are thankful for the mild symptoms, those who have been sick, and don’t know whether they had the virus or not, the health workers who see horrible things, and who are intensely thankful for every patient that makes it through, but also look for a quiet corner to let their tears run free when yet another patient has passed away.
I also think of the people who are isolated alone at home, feeling lonely, detached from society, of families who can’t see each other now because of the lock-down, the weirdness of this social distancing, standing in line at the supermarket, not allowed to go inside until someone has come out, the quiet shops, the closed restaurants, the working from home things.
These are trying times, for all of us. In every country in the world, this impacts us in some or other way. Easter for many is a time to be together, but now for all to be safe, we have to stay apart. No hugs, no kisses, no being together. It’s hard, but it’s the only way to send this virus off and out our countries, to kill the outbreak.
No matter the reason you celebrate Easter, whether it’s because of your religious beliefs, or because this is just a time where you always spend special times with your families, I wish all of you peace, good health, and a wonderful time despite the circumstances.
Asrai Devin shares a sexy piece of lesbian fiction, The First Time Meeting. I just loved the natural dialogue here the way the characters are all nervous around each other. And of course I really liked the sex too!
I love when May More writes one of her sexy stories, and where this is a sponsored post, the story Working From Home is all her own doing. Over here on the radio we have heard about relationships with problems due to the lock-down, but also about sex toy sales soaring. This story fits in perfectly with that!
I am really enjoying some of the April AtoZ posts fellow bloggers have out on their blogs, and thought to highlight some here:
- Julie’s AtoZ is quite cleverly constructed, as she is using her archives and writing new content for each letter of the alphabet. A post that totally intrigued me, is This girl – speaking in the third person. I have never considered speaking about myself in the third person, but the thought of it intrigues me.
- Cat’s AtoZ is about random relationship related subjects, and the one post from her that really stands out for me is Are you a Fake Friend?. I am sure we all know or had known someone who fits the criteria Cat has listed, or (if you are like me) you start to feel guilty, wondering whether some of the criteria might apply to you.
- Devie’s AtoZ is about body love, where she focuses mainly on her own body, but she also includes her husband’s body in some posts. C is for Clothes is about how Devie dresses, and I can tell you, there are some gorgeous images in this post!
- Brigit’s AtoZ is a AtoZ Poetry Challenge. She has written some really beautiful poems already, like Vasoline. The picture Brigit has painted with her words is… just. So. Damn. Sexy.
It’s no secret that Missy of Focused and Filthy is incredibly creative with her camera. I mean, just look at her post Good Thigh Day to see how she re-created a painting she has seen online.
Just as much as I love Missy’s photography, I love the rope work and photography of Cuntella. In her post, Futomomo, she combines the two for MLSlavePuppet’s meme Tie Me Up Tuesday (get involved if you like rope!). I love the moodiness of the red rope in Cuntella’s image.
Then, as you all might know, last week was the first Sunday of April which meant it was prompt week on Sinful Sunday. I scrolled through the thumbnails, and noticed a number of cups in them — all fabulous images:
- Coffee Break by Elliott Henry
- Kindness & Coffee by Floss
- Sinful (“Stay at Home”) Sunday by Brigit Delaney
- Come for breakfast? by Honey
- Working from Home by Ouizzi
- My Cup of tea by lovedyoualongtime

Every week someone else in the community does the top 3 roundup for Wicked Wednesday. Sometimes it’s me, but mostly it’s someone else. I love to engage others to do it, because I want Wicked Wednesday to be for everyone.
Are you interested in doing the roundup (again)? Just get in contact with me!
Prompt 410 for Wicked Wednesday was ‘The Twenties’ for which 23 posts were linked. The top 3 was done by Little Switch Bitch and she chose:
Last week Sunday the results of the third round of the Smut Marathon 2020 were published. It wasn’t a knockout round, which means the 67 writers who are still in the race all received the fourth assignment. The winner of the round was Dioscurus with the beautiful story Hunter in the Wildwood.
The writers have until 22 April to send in their stories for the fourth round, and the next voting round opens on 26 April 2020.
Tips & tricks
If you are interested in wax play, you might want to read Littlegem’s post, Wax play- A view from the bottom. The post deals with what wax play feels like, how to layer it, why you should film it, and so much more. It also shows some beautiful images, also in video!
