One hundred times I have done a #SoSS post. My very first #SoSS post was on 4 November 2017 which is almost two years ago, and I believe I skipped 2 or 3 Saturdays, one of them the 2018 Eroticon weekend. There was a time when I thought to make my #SoSS a fortnightly feature on the blog, or maybe a monthly one, but I just couldn’t. I read a lot of blogs, and I wanted to promote the memes, and those are better promoted weekly…
So here I am looking back on 100 #SoSS posts. It’s an achievement, yes, but that is not why I am doing these post and keeping to them. I am not doing it so people can tell me how good I am. No, I am doing them because I love sharing posts of others, directing people to their blogs to read their words and see their images. I have written about it before, how this community is the first one ever that made me feel welcome and allowed me to be all I am, and it still does every day. It has made my self-confidence grow, inspired my creativity and I have made the most wonderful friends. When one receives so much, you have to give back something too, and these #SoSS posts are a way to do that.
I recently wrote about taking a step back. I wanted to post a lot less than I do now, but when I started thinking of the days I want to post, there were four days I wasn’t prepared to stop with: Monday (because of the No Consent series), Wednesday (because Wicked Wednesday is my meme), Sinful Sunday (because I haven’t missed one since I found the meme in July 2011) and of course my #SoSS. I just can’t stop sharing, because you know what they say: sharing is caring!
I always say you are never too old to learn, and this being a month where we have more awareness for breast cancer, I think this post by Nora, Pissplay of a Different Sort … is something everyone should read. I have learned something new, and you might too.
I always love it when Charlie Powell writes, and once again she managed to hold my attention from beginning to end, hoping the story goes where I wanted it to go… I so thoroughly enjoyed her story, Soft play that I want to share it with you.
An absolute HOT piece of writing from Floss this week, Showering Alone. You will need your moments after reading this!
Someone else who is back with a brilliant story this week, is Scandarella, who I am sure many of us dearly missed. Her story, Witch Switch is all for Halloween, and it’s a fight between good and bad, which is so damn sexy!
- Morning Stretches by Raven — Now this is a post that made me scroll up and down, and up and down, and no, I promise, I didn’t drool. Or maybe I did!
- Spots and Stripes by The Other Livvy — There is just something about this image that I really love!
- Splendor by Kiki — Is it the water, her hair or the placement of her hand that makes this image so appealing? I don’t know, I just know I love it!
- Lazy Morning by Jupiter Grant — I love the soft focus of this image and the lovely glimpse of her cleavage.
- Thinking of him… by Theon — Every time I see this image, I just find myself staring at it. This. Is. Art!
Prompts are great to inspire you to write a new post, and you can also combine two prompts (or three) if you want.

Every week someone else in the community does the top 3 roundup for Wicked Wednesday. Sometimes it’s me, but mostly it’s someone else. I love to engage others to do it, because I want Wicked Wednesday to be for everyone. Are you interested in doing the roundup (again)? Just get in contact with me!
Prompt 385 for Wicked Wednesday was ‘Awkward’ for which 30 posts were linked. The top 3 was done by Exposing40 and she chose:
- This moment by Molly Moore and Third Eye Blind by Cara Thereon
- Life and Death by Victoria Blisse
- What sex is REALLY like, in my world by Mrs Fever
The writers have sent in their stories for the semi-finals of the Smut Marathon 2019, after working hard on the difficult assignment. Tomorrow at noon my time the semi-final voting round will open. Remember, please read and vote (watch this space )for the three stories you like best, as YOUR vote helps to determine who the finalists are!
