Moving & Stress #SoSS #87

My normal Friday evening routine is to come home from work, have dinner, and then sit at my laptop until my weekly #SoSS post is done, and the new Wicked Wednesday prompt is scheduled. However, as I sit here writing this, it’s Thursday evening, because tomorrow evening I am going to help our son to pack up the last stuff in his room, and I tell you, there’s still a LOT to do. Typical him, he has left things up to the last moment. On Saturday morning at 9am everyone will be here to help him move to his new flat. An hour before they are here, Master T and I will be out to do the weekly grocery shopping. Hence the reason I am preparing my #SoSS on a Thursday, as I just won’t have the time to sit at my laptop again until Sunday. That’s not even a certainty either, as I might have to drive over to my son’s on Sunday to help him unpack stuff.

These past two weeks have been incredibly stressful. The closer his moving date came, the more stressed I became.I have the strangest dreams, and I know they are all stress-related. Sometimes it’s about my car being stolen, or me on a plane, or rather, attempting to be on a plane and not making it. Sometimes there are colleagues in my dreams and sometimes there are no familiar faces. Every morning I wake up, tired and in need of much more sleep as the dreams make my nights restless.

I know the stress won’t magically be gone when my son has moved out, but I do know after years of walking on eggs, not knowing when he will have an anger attack (although those were much less in the past year, but his down moods remained), the stress will eventually start to leave my body. There are exciting times ahead — my son standing on his own feet, running his own household, and of course, my photo studio — but we first have to get through the move and the first couple of weeks after it.

I’m sure there will be more posts to follow on this, but for now, it’s time to share some links!

Sexy writing

There was a time when I ‘read’ a lot of books while I traveled to and from work, but I stopped when I didn’t know which book I wanted to ‘read’ next. The post Unlikely Pleasures by Master reminded me of the pleasure that kind of ‘reading’ gave me, and now has me looking at books again!

There is something about watching your lover masturbate that is so damn hot, and it’s even better when Great Minds think alike, such as Molly shared in her sexy piece!

A message we should shout out to the world, is something E.L. Byrne has already started doing in her blog post It’s Summer- Do You have a Summer Body? We should all have this positive attitude!

And, since I have shared the previous post, I can’t leave out this one by Violet Fawkes: Summer Pleasure Seeker. I just love her positivity, and think we all should make a list of our own summer pleasures to keep us focused.

Hot images

There are three photo memes I check every week to look for sexy images to share here: Sinful Sunday, Boobday and the newest, Lingerie Is For Everyone.

Smut Marathon

Only thirty writers were allowed to advance to the seventh round of the Smut Marathon 2019, and those thirty writers were announced last week when we published the results of the sixth voting round.

Tips & tricks

To those who want to make a living through their blogs, or at least wants to earn some kind of money for their hard work, there comes a time when you will be asked for your media kit. How to make one? As always, Kayla comes to the rescue giving you tips on Making Your Smutlancer Media Kit.

Rebel’s Notes in past years

Sharing posts from the twentieth of July in the past years of my blog:

2011: Summer horniness
A true story about a day in the park, on a blanket in a secluded spot, and the summer sun shining down on almost naked bodies.

2012: Attention whore (2/2)
The second part of a fictional story, and some rough non-consensual sex here. This is not the kind of thing I would write nowadays without a content warning.

2013: Elust #48
Sharing the monthly digest of Elust. If you haven’t submitted to this yet, please do so every month, as this is the place to promote your work.

2014: Summer Sun
A Sinful Sunday image of me in the glorious summer sun, seated in a hotel window.

2015: He Watched Me
I squirmed a bit when I re-read this post about a night Master T watched me while I played with a toy in bed next to him.

2016: If there’s no way…
A short piece of erotic fiction, without the sex.
