Travels & Time #SoSS #84

I am traveling again this weekend. When you read this, I will be halfway through yet another Saturday in London. Two weeks ago I did it, and this weekend I am doing it again: traveling solo to London. Two nights on a bus, one full day in London, and of course meeting up with friends. I absolutely love that I can do this.

For those who follow me on Twitter, you have read that our son will be moving out soon. Our youngest daughter spends most of her weekends with her boyfriend, which means soon it will only be the two of us during weekends. When I realized this last week, my brain started telling me that I can then not travel to London anymore, and finally yesterday I casually mentioned this to Master T. I haven’t really thought it would be a problem, but I wanted to know for sure, and he assured me that he sees absolutely no problems with me still traveling to London, even when it means he will be home all alone during the weekend. He’s perfectly okay with that, which is fabulous!

So, while you imagine me roaming the streets of London, sitting somewhere inside having breakfast, or somewhere inside a (sex) shop, you can also read the sexy posts I am sharing this week!

Sexy writing

Every time I read a post by Mrs. Fever, I am stunned by her use of words, by her unique style of writing. And then there are posts like Interlude that is filled with so much love, so much sexiness!

Sometimes you read something and just everything about it is good: the setting, the story, the feelings. And not only the feelings of the people in the story, but what you feel when reading the story. HisLordship’s The Digger’s Kiss is such a story.

I sat with tears in my eyes when I read Pater Familias by Melody. I totally admire what she had done, how she had stood up for herself, an shared who she is with pride. Truly a beautiful post!

A post that really spoke to me, because there is such a huge difference between my online existence and how I am (not) seen by my colleagues and some family members, is what Submissy wrote in Being Overlooked. So much of this rings true for me!

Hot images

There are three photo memes I check every week to look for sexy images to share here: Sinful Sunday, Boobday and the newest, Lingerie Is For Everyone.

  • Darkness by Annie Savoy — no nudity here, but a lace and a hand just in the right place, and that makes for a alluring image.
  • Solace by Floss — when I saw the triptych at the top of Floss’ post I was sold. The black and white edits, her breasts and her hands… just perfect!
  • A Touch of Satin by Cara Thereon — I love this bra Cara is wearing, and that her hand seems to be on it’s way to do some sexy touching.
  • Anyone need a towel? by Steeled Snake — I love that one of his assignments is to share more pictures, and like the view of his strong hand holding the phone, and the strategically held towel.
  • All In One by Purple’s Gem — I just had to include this image too. Her hand grabbing her ass like that? Sexy!
  • Points of View by Molly Moore — An image that has to be in this line-up, is this one! The angle of this image is mezmerizing, and her hand on her hip just adds something to it, like she says ‘this is me, take me or leave it’. I’ll take it!

It seems this week in all images it were the hands that captured my attention!

Smut Marathon

This week I announced another sponsor for the Smut Marathon 2019, which is Resonance Press. I also shared news about the Smut Marathon 2018 anthology. I am so excited about this, and nervous too, as this is the first time I have done something like this and everything is so NEW! But, I can’t wait to reveal the cover, to reveal the launch date, to reveal everything. Even so, before that can happen, there’s a lot of work happening behind the scenes. Stay tuned in!

Tips & tricks

If you are a road user, especially driving anything with four wheels or more, you might want to read Sweetgirl’s article Near Miss… as it gives really valuable information regarding motorbike riders.

Have you started earning money with your blog and are you looking for a way to organize the work you have done and your communication with the client? Kayla has shared this: 4 Tools I Use to Stay Organized as a Smutlancer.

Kayla is on a roll this week. Another tip from her is How to Create a Smutlancer Portfolio. The information in this post is useful for all smutlancers.

Last but not least

It’s about time I started, right? I first mentioned it in January but then nothing happened. Then I mentioned it again in May, and again nothing happened. I tried, but failed both times. But now, after a week-and-a-half of finally watching my diet and almost fully being back to a #LCHF lifestyle, I think I can say I am back on track. And you know what? I feel so damn good. My tummy already doesn’t hurt anymore, and I keep on asking myself why I haven’t gotten back into the lifestyle earlier. Why did I keep on abusing my body the way I did. I am not there yet, I need to do this for at least a month before I will believe that I am truly back on track, but after seeing the number on the scale yesterday morning, I am energized to continue, because it doesn’t only benefit my health, but also my body.

Yep, it was about time I get the hang of this again!

  1. Thank you so much for including my post. It was one of those ones that just comes out into the page when you sit down so it was a real surprise that others connected with my stream of consciousness. I really hope that you have a great weekend in London. Have a blast ❤️
