Rants & Nightmares #SoSS #83

I have read quite a couple of rants this week — on Wicked Wednesday, on other blogs and also on Twitter. Most of the times I shook my head and wondered why I am always ‘late to the party’ to voice my opinion, or to think about things the way others do, to be as inquisitive and investigative as others. Somehow I think this all boils down to who I am and have always been: a girl with my head in the clouds. Things tend to pass my by until they are brought to my attention, either in a documentary or in writing, and then only I start to ask myself what my own feelings are about the things others have ranted about. It’s no surprise that sometimes I agree, and sometimes I don’t. I tend to decide to pay more attention to things and voice my opinion earlier, but I never do, because that’s just not my nature. I get totally lost in the things I do, in my writing, in my photography, spending time with Master T… and then I just don’t pay attention. I have always been a bit of daydreamer, besides being able to totally focus on what I am doing, and I guess with the 50+ years that lie behind me, I am not going to change that now. I am who I am…

Sexy writing

Sometimes you read a post and as you read on, you can’t help but smile because you don’t only read about the happiness, but also feel it in the words and between the lines. That’s what happened when I read Honey’s post Wonderful World. It just makes me happy to see her so happy!

I like a story with a nice twist, especially when the twist is nothing like you might expect. Raven has managed to do that in his story, The Quest.

Getting a tattoo hurts, and while you get one, the best thing you can do is to distract yourself with your thoughts, amongst other things. Read The Things We Do for Love by Ella Scandal and see what I mean!

Quite a number of role play posts have been going around because of the Tell Me About prompt, but the one that made me laugh out loud while reading it was that of His Lordship, simply called Role Play. Go read it!

Just imagine seeing a stranger, feeling a connection and the doing something quite naughty and daring to get his attention? Read The Stranger by Ria Restrepo to see what I’m talking about.

Hot images

There are three photo memes I check every week to look for sexy images to share here: Sinful Sunday, Boobday and the newest, Lingerie Is For Everyone.

Wicked Wednesday

More memes — also those without prompts — can be found here. And, did you know that it’s perfectly okay to combine memes? Just make sure you have the buttons of those you link to in your post!

Smut Marathon

It’s time to give our Smut Marathon 2019 sponsors some love again, especially since we have announced yet another sponsor for this year’s marathon, which is Tabitha Rayne, and she has a mystery prize for the winner of this year’s marathon. Other sponsors are Eroticon, Sheets of San Francisco, Godemiche and Satisfyer.

There are two more sponsors to announce. Can you guess who they are?

Tips & tricks

I think one of the biggest nightmares for any blogger is when their site is down. The moment you discover this, you break out in cold sweat and panic takes over all your logical thoughts. That’s why, when we encounter problems, we should share the solutions with others, and warn them about possible fraudulent companies. That’s exactly what May More has done, writing Site Security: An Example (Nightmare) of Why You Shouldn’t Ignore It for The Smutlancer.

Last but not least

After a three-week holiday Master T and I returned to work again on Thursday. The first days of our vacation time I was still angry after a colleague overstepped my boundaries and I once again was stupid enough to only think after the fact that I should’ve said something, and then the last days before we started working again, I started thinking about it again and got anxious and angry all over again. All for nothing of course, but on Wednesday night I had the strangest nightmarish anxiety dreams in between being awake for too many hours that night. Of course it was all for nothing, because Thursday at work was just fine, and I had little interaction with the colleague.

We’re back in the rat race again, which means we appreciate weekends so much more!

Speaking of weekends, this one is going to be good, but oh boy, I am SO looking forward to next weekend! Yep, I will be traveling again!

  1. I really wasn’t sure about the wicked Wednesday prompt to begin with this week, but I loved the responces it brought out of people and the emotions that came from it.

  2. To what you wrote in the first paragraph Marie — yes, you are who you are — and you are beautiful in that.

Thank you for including my photo. 🖤
