Details & Diet #SoSS #79

It’s always important to pay attention to details, but sometimes life just happens and passes us by, or we are so busy that little details are missed. That special look from the one in your life, the friendly smile of a passerby, how beautiful that dress accentuates your curves. Sometimes the things that are not important drown out those that are. I am as guilty as the next person. I too should pay attention to the little details… the way Master T looks at me, that special glint in his eyes that can’t hide his love for me… the way he still puts my night collar on me every night, not because he’s trying to keep me happy, but because he wants it… the way he cares for me in so many other ways than the ones I complain about… the way he’s always willing to talk, even when what I say can seem like I am accusing him. Yes, I miss the physical intimacy between us a lot, but there’s still intimacy between us, be it a different kind. Sometimes I should just remind myself of all these little things, and the thing I miss will become more bearable. And, sometimes I should remember that I am a girl of action, where Master T is one with too much patience, waiting for things to get better. Sometimes I should just take matters into my own hands, and make things happen. That’s the plan of action for the coming weeks…

Sexy writing

Sometimes everything in a post just works to make it one perfect whole, like Molly’s post, Little Details. The image is gorgeous, the words sexy, and the title doesn’t only fit the words, but also completes the shortness of the story.

There is one thing I have been curious about for years now, and that is erotic hypnosis. Now that I’ve read DeviantSuccubus’ post Hypnotized I am even more intrigued.

When Kayla Lords sits in a car for too long, sexy things happen. Damn, she has a hot mind. Want to see what I mean? Read her post: I Have Sexual Fantasies About People I’ll Never Meet.

As you know, I share quite a lot of my photography on my blog, and I do it for some of the reasons Floss mentions in her brilliant post, Why Do I Share the Sexy?

Hot images

Let me highlight my two favorite posts from each of the three photo memes out there: Sinful Sunday, Boobday and the newest, Lingerie Is For Everyone.

Sinful Sunday

Smut Marathon

The writers of the Smut Marathon 2019 are still busy writing for the fifth round of the competition, and that round ends on Wednesday 29 May 2019. The fifth voting round will open on 2 June 2019, so please keep an eye on the site. In the meantime two posts appeared on the Smut Marathon site this week. First I shared the different Elements of a Story with some tips, and then I announced the third sponsor for this year’s competition, Godemiche.

Tips & tricks

Want to earn money with your writing and you have read so much about it but still don’t know where to start or how to have success with this? Then here’s a tip for you on where to find help: A New Collaboration to Help You Achieve Your Smutlancing Goals.

Are you curious about medical staples? Molly Moore has written a guide to this kink: A Staple in my Life – A Guide to Medical Staple Play. Read this first before you try using the staples.

Last but not least

As said in the introduction of this post, sometimes it’s necessary to pay attention to details. Many of you might remember my LCHF journey of 2016 and how I lost so much weight back then and felt so good about myself, not only because of the weight loss but also because my tummy problems had seemed to have disappeared. Then mom got sick, and I started eating again, and yes, I have gained ALL the weight I have lost. I have made a couple of halfhearted attempts to get started again, but I constantly fail, probably because my mindset was not right. I don’t know, I just find it so damn hard. In the past weeks, maybe two or three months now, I have noticed that my knees hurt more, my knickers roll down to rest under my belly and my tights are so damn uncomfortable. And on top of that… my tummy hurts every damn day because every damn day I eat and drink things I shouldn’t.

weight from June to December
I mean, just look at this. I have done it once, I can do it again!

I am done. Done with it. Done with abusing my body the way I do. I want to get back to eating healthy, back to weigh the same I did when I turned 50, which was the lowest I have weighed in many years. I want to get back to that, and back to feeling healthy and strong. I know getting back to the LCHF lifestyle is not going to be easy, but I finally feel committed enough to do it. Wish me luck!

  1. OMG! I’ve been so fortunate with my metabolism. I burn it too quickly and start to look wrinkled! Rex has me on a high calorie diet! And lots of wine! How did you go Marie? Having kids doesn’t help that’s for sure!!!

  2. Good Luck on your LCHF diet. It’s okay to fall off the wagon sometimes, especially during stressful times. Meal planning and prep can be time consuming, and when you dont have time, well, it’s just more stress. When the time is right, dust off and get back on. And if the diet isnt comfortable or satisfying, try a different one.
I do well on a paleo style diet, and as I approach my goal weight, I allow myself to cheat more often, though holidays and family occasions have never been diet days. As I tell my husband, it’s a lifestyle, not a religion.
My husband tried paleo and did well on it, but he is happier on a low carb Mediterranean style diet. He feels better with less meat and more whole grains and legumes than I do. And at our ages, it’s all about how we feel. While we are definitely beautiful at any weight, I dont always feel so good when I dont watch what I eat.

  3. Hope the diet goes well – I finally realised that as we get older we just burn the calories off more slowly which was a blow for someone who was enthusiastic about overdoing it in all things! Have found in recent months that reducing alcohol intake dramatically has helped get weight down but I’m not so much fun in the evenings – good luck!

  4. Why was I under the impression you had died? Do I have you confused with another female blogger?
