Goals & Bodies #SoSS #60

I have been reading a lot of goals posts this week and I love how diverse it is, and yet so similar. I have mentioned some goals in one of my last posts of last year, but to be honest, other than that I haven’t thought beyond goals like the memes I want to participate in, running the Smut Marathon and continue to have some me-time so my mental health can keep on improving. This said, I just love to see how focused other people are and I am here, cheering them on to reach all their goals this year.

I look forward to another year of blogging, to reading blogs, to engaging in this wonderful community!

Welcome to my first #SoSS post of this year, the sixtieth since I started doing these posts!

Sexy writing

Start as you mean to go on is the right spirit to start the New Year, and Molly tells you just how to do it. This is the way you leave the old year and start the new one!

I squirmed a bit when I read Coffee-shops and painsluts by Quinn Rhodes. This is so hot and so well-written. I could totally picture myself in the scene…

I love the different goals posts I have read in the past week, and the way we are all different in our approaches, and have different goals we want to achieve. I have mentioned some of my goals for 2019 in a post, but so has Wriggly Kitty, Aurora Glory, Jade, Indie and Quinn Rhodes.

Hot images

Accidental Masturbator posted an image that I kept on scrolling back to. It might not be a Fur coat he’s wearing, but it’s a damn sexy image!

It seems my theme for this week’s images is looking up and down people’s bodies, or in the next two images, looking up the bodies of two damn sexy women: Annie Savoy and my wifey, Hyacinth. Both pictures are hot!

Last but not least

I have mentioned bodies in the title…

… and here I might have a some sort of goal after all…

I have gained some weight over the holiday period, so much so that my knickers sometimes slip down over my tummy even when I am wearing tights. Also, I haven’t been to the gym for the last three weeks. I confess, I haven’t. Things were just busy and then there were the festive days, and… yes, all excuses. Some very valid, but still excuses. I have also not been eating well. Believe me, I have paid for it with tummy cramps and bloating and god knows what else. It’s over and done with. I have an outing with my daughter tomorrow, and I can’t promise I will not eat something ‘wrong’, but as from Monday, I am going back to watching what I put on my mouth (not only food, but drinks too, as I have started a habit to drink hot chocolate at my work), and I am back to the gym twice a week.

Now, having said that, and having admitted that I have gained weight, I am amazed that I am not disgusted by myself. Have I now really, truly accepted my body as it is — all curvy and with some extra weight. Because you see, even though I know I will lose weight when I watch my diet and exercise, that doesn’t seem to be my goal. My goal is to make my tummy happy again and to stop that damn annoying feeling of my knickers rolling down over my tummy ever so slooo-ooo-ooowly!

  1. First, I’m very glad your reaction to weight gain and your body hasn’t been negative. I’m working on that myself. I’m determined not to be weight focused and just focus on how strong my body is becoming.
