Competition & Books #SoSS #54

hourglass in the sunsetSitting here, thinking of the post I have started writing last night, thinking of the time of year, and also thinking about the Smut Marathon, I can hardly believe the year is almost gone. In less than 6 weeks we will have started a new year. Where has the time gone? It seems this is another year that has flown by… another year that had its hardships, but started smiling at us towards the end.

One thing I thoroughly enjoyed doing this year, was the Smut Marathon, which means it will continue in 2019. Please follow the Smut Marathon site or sign up for my newsletter if you don’t want to miss a thing! I call all writers to sign up… come on, you know you want to!

That’s just one thing I have been thinking about to do next year. There are things I want to do differently, but also things that will remain the same. Our three-week holiday is coming to a end this coming week. During these three weeks, because I have allowed myself all the rest I needed, I have made space in my head to see what I (might) need. More will follow about this…

For now, it’s time to look at the posts that struck a cord with me during the past week.

Oh and, before you read the rest, I also added ‘Books’ to the title. Read to the end to see why I have added that!

Sexy writing

She doesn’t write nearly as much as she did before, but when she does, she always draws me in with her words. I am talking about Cuntella (also known to me under other writing names) and reading Sometimes… totally drew me in, made me feel her responses; her thoughts.

He’s a lucky bastard, he really is. That is what Bibulous One said himself in his post, Kidnap — the remake and if you want to know just why he is so lucky, you have to read this!

Nikki wrote a hot piece of fiction for Wicked Wednesday, called Falling leaves and a piece of writing that left me feeling a bit flustered. Lovely writing!

I never leave work for my lunch breaks (they are only half an hour anyway) but if I could, I would love to have a Lunch Break like Wriggly Kitty is describing here.

I love how this starts with fighting back, and as her body reacts, she does what he asks: Listen to Me – a lovely flash fiction story by Floss.

Hot images

I looked at this image, and had this incredible pull to book a hotel so I can use y Doxy again. At home it’s just not possible, but in a hotel, Hotel room fucking is a thing, as Quinn Rhodes demonstrates with this striking image!

A simply gorgeous image by Missy, Grip, with a these striking words: When life chokes me, his hand sets me free.

Stella Kiink says, “I See the Beauty” and I can tell you, that’s what I see here too!

A gorgeous image for last week’s Sinful Sunday was Missing by lovedyoualongtime. I love the simplicity of the image.

Tomorrow the FINAL voting round of the Smut Marathon 2018 opens! By next weekend we will know who the winner is, but, before that, you will have to read all the fabulous stories, and vote for the three stories you like best. Come on, make sure you support the writers, and help your favorite to win.

As we are on the subject of the Smut Marathon… in the next couple of weeks the website will be updated (new theme) and then, on the 15th of December, the entries for the Smut Marathon 2019 will open. Mark the date in your diaries, sweeties, as I want a lot of you to sign up and enjoy the challenge of the year 2019!

Tips & tricks

Amazing Kayla Lords is on a roll with giving blogging tips. Everyone with a blog knows there comes a time when you need to do some maintenance. We put it off, say we will do it tomorrow, because yes, it IS time consuming, but it’s necessary to be done. Want to work through a checklist of things to do? Brigit Delaney is continuing with reading books and writing about those books, and you can still join in. Here you find an update of her plans: Brigit’s Books (Club Update and More).

Last but not least

Just now, while busy with this post, Master T poured me another drink. As he put it down, I asked for a kiss… and a kiss I got. I love that even after knowing him for almost 17 years and having been married for just more of 13 of those 17 years, he can still kiss me in a way that sets my cunt on fire.

I just had to share that!
