A ritual “is a sequence of activities involving gestures, words, and objects, performed in a sequestered place, and performed according to set sequence”.
When we see the word ‘ritual’ we all think of something we do, some kind of ritual we have. It might be totally insignificant to others, but means a lot to you. However, there are also rituals we do in bigger groups. Some people go to church every Sunday, many people celebrate Christmas, and there are people who do the same thing with their birthdays every year. Halloween, celebrated yearly, can also be seen as a ritual. Where we live, Halloween is not a big thing, but we do know someone who decorates her garden in Halloween spheres every year. That too is a ritual.
There are also relationship rituals, like Master T and I kiss each other hello every morning, goodbye when I leave for work, hello when I return and goodnight when we go to sleep. We have done this for as long as we are together, so, definitely a ritual.
What rituals do you have?
Oh and, as a last thought, sort of: I can’t believe this is my 50th #SoSS!!!
It might not be a sexy post, but it definitely is one I want to highlight this week: “Men Should STFU!” by Bibulous One. More men should speak out like this, and stand by women. I believe more men actually do, but are they willing to admit it the way B1 did here?
Another post that can be classified as brave, more than sexy. I totally admire Julie for her strength and bravery in sharing her journey with us after her recent mastectomy. This is every woman’s fear, but in A week on Julie shares in such an open and honest way that I cannot help but admire her!
Submissy has me totally hooked on her story about Sadhbh. The second part is called Protect me and set me free and just like the first part, this contains beautiful images of Submissy.
Lily by Hannah Lockhardt is a story about grief and loneliness, or is it? You will have to read it to find out more.
Sometimes Tears come from nowhere, but are much needed, like Wriggly Kitty tells us in her post, which is actually filled with happy stuff, not sad things!
I have made no secret of following The Other Livvy’s picture journey of her pregnancy with absolute awe, so pardon me if I include her here yet again, at 34 weeks pregnancy. This picture is just so incredibly gorgeous!
It can safely be said that NPE is the master of multi-exposure images, as he shows us once again in his post Pagan Circle Ritual. I just love how the look of this, seeing him in so many different positions around a mushroom rock.
There is something so damn sexy about Kisungura’s image ‘Witch’. It seems like a simple image, but the moon and the branches in the background definitely gives it a bit of a sinister, witch-y feel!
And then of course, we need to have something Halloween-y for this weeks images. Missy made sure we have one, and her Halloween Handy Nipple Bar is so cute, and maybe a bit creepy too.

Last but not least
The second part of the title of this post is ‘feelings’. Some posts deal with this, with tears, with being brave. I love reading erotic fiction by my fellow bloggers, but I also love it when people speak about their feelings, when they give us a glimpse into the person they are. I know not everyone wants to write about themselves, and that doesn’t make them less to me than those who do. I guess what I’m saying is that, if you have wondered whether you should write about the real you or not, your feelings, your joys, your sadness, your pain, your love… please go ahead and do so. There are people out there reading it, people who might be in the same situation and who wants to read how someone else deals with it.
Which reminds me… I have a follow-up post to write.
