Happy Valley

When I saw the prompt for this month, I thought I would share another macro photo of my nipple, but then, one night when I couldn’t sleep, I had a different idea. It took a while for my sleepy brain to figure out just how I would do it, and finally I did.

I present to you…

Macro image of my genital piercings
… my happy valley!

PS: For those of you who wondered, yes, the title is a reference to the English series Happy Valley, which I loved watching and can’t wait for the third season in 2019!

Sinful Sunday
This image has been chosen as one of Molly’s top 5 for week 386 of Sinful Sunday:

As I said in my intro there is a very narrow shallow depth of field to work with when taking a macro shot and Rebel’s image shows that perfectly as you can clearly see how the focal point runs across her labia and picks up just a small part of her piercing whilst everything else melts into a soft blur. It is such a beautifully done shot and one that must have been surprisingly tricky to do.

  1. Aside from the fact that genital jewellery is just so damned sexy, the depth of focus is great – it shows and hides, drawing attention to the metal. It’s the sort of image that should be used to sell piercing jewellery!
(And there’s now a happy hill in my trousers.)

  2. Wow, the fade and focus really draws the eye right to the spot, not that my eye wouldn’t have found that spot anyway! My goodness how beautiful!
