Master Series Electro Shank Electro Shock Blade with Handle

There was a time when I said that I wasn’t interested in electro play at all. The idea of being ‘shocked’ by electricity scared me. Then, Master T mentioned that he would like to try it. I told him that I’m afraid of it and he said I wouldn’t know if I like it if I don’t at least give it a try. It wasn’t on my list of hard limits, so I decided to give it a go. After some deliberation with Überkinky, I was recommended to try the Master Series Electro Shank Electro Shock Blade with Handle. This would not be the first time we tried something from the Master Series so I agreed to receive this item in change for a review.

Electro Shank
The Master Series Electro Shank in its package.

As with previous items of the Master Series, the Shock Blade was packed in a beautiful box that showed the item inside. The box contains the following information about the item:

  • Intense shock
  • Prod-style end
  • Innovative design
  • Comfortable handle
  • Easy to use control button
  • Handle and blade safe to touch

The Shock Blade is shaped like a large knife, which is supposed to be intimidating. It is made of ABS plastic, the handle is black and the blade is silver. It contains no latex or phthalates. It’s full length is almost 32 centimeters, of which the handle is about 17 centimeters. The tip of the blade has two tiny copper ‘loops’ which are the electrodes through which the current runs.

How does it work?

There is indents for your fingers on the one side and on the other side there’s a button which you push to cause a shock. Before any shock can be delivered, you need to insert two AA batteries, which are not included in the package. To shock someone, you push the button and then hold the tip against the skin of your ‘subject’. The current travels the short distance between the two contacts, through the skin.

My experience with & opinion of the product

Normally when we test products that Master T will use on me, we have a ‘session’, but this time I wanted to be alone when testing it, as I still had no idea whether electro sex is something I wanted to engage in.

Space for 2 AA batteries

In inserted the batteries, pushed the button and almost threw the Shock Blade across the bed. The moment I pushed the button I saw a flash at the tip of the blade and heard a loud bang. Damn! Was I really supposed to let this thing touch my skin? I sat there for a few seconds, just staring at the toy in my hand. I decided that it flashed and I heard the bang because I pushed the button, but didn’t hold it against my skin. Obviously the current has jumped over from the one electrode to the other.

I breathed in hard, breathed out and then brought the tip to my skin. I pushed the button and again I heard a loud bang, saw a flash, but this time it also hurt. Too much! Again I just sat there staring at the toy. Why did it make such a noise? And was it really supposed to flash like that?

When I pushed the button again, holding the toy up in the air, nothing happened. I held it against my skin again and yes, there it was. The intense (too intense) shock. This time I smelled something like rubber or plastic burning. I looked at the toy but saw no smoke or anything out of the order. I waited a couple of minutes and then held it against my skin again and pushed the button. This time I decided it was enough. It just hurt too much and I knew that during play this was going to make me cranky. I even prefer the cane above this, and that says a lot. Also, this last time I smelled the burning rubber/plastic again. This didn’t seem right.

On my skin I had three pairs of red dots for a couple of days after testing this toy. When I went downstairs after testing it, I told Master T that I am not impressed. I didn’t know electro play would be like this, that it would hurt this much. I thought it would give a different kind of sensation, more… err… enjoyable? I don’t mind pain (you only have to read this blog to know that I am a masochist) but this was a kind of pain that brought no pleasure, only a sort of anger.

I don’t think electro sex is for me, especially not if all devices deliver these kinds of shocks.
But… Master T is adamant to take it with us the next time we have a hotel stay, and he wants to use it on me. Ouch!
