Bad Girl Blogger Award

It’s running towards the end of the year and during this time of year, you see several posts from different bloggers listing their favorite blogs. I have done exactly the same on Monday, wanting to give recognition to those bloggers who have captured and kept my attention in the last year. But, as I said, I am not the only one doing this and I have found my name on several lists in the past weeks, such as:

BadGirlBloggerImagine my surprise when, among the post with top lists, I was alerted that Katie Laid Bare has nominated me for a Bad Girl Blogger Award. Who doesn’t want to be called a Bad Girl? Thank you, Katie, for the nomination!

And then, two days later, I am also nominated by F Dot Leonora! The beautiful words she used had me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside!

The rules for this award is as follows:
If you are a recipient, please choose 3-5 female bloggers who write about sex (or post sexy pics of themselves, or both) that you admire and award them by passing on the award photo above and the rules. Also, give a brief explanations of why you love those bloggers so much. Be sure to notify your favorite bloggers that they got the award!

Those are easy enough to follow, but what’s not easy is to decide who you want to nominate for this award. At first I thought to nominate only 3 female bloggers, but then I thought 5 might be better. Then I thought 3 might be easier to do, but 5 might be a lot easier too. See my dilemma? I had no idea where to start and how many to nominate.

Eventually I came up with this list:

* Kink and Poly (@piecesofjade)
Jade is one of the most open ladies I follow. She talks openly about her life with W and Ad, about her life, her feelings, her thoughts. It’s not all words on her blog though, as she also posts lovely photos of places they have traveled to and where Jade frequently sees an opportunity for a scavenger hunt. Jade created the Kink of the week meme, a meme that works with a bi-weekly prompt, giving you two weeks to write a post, following the prompt and linking it on the Kink of the week site for others to read.

* Modesty Ablaze (@ablazingmodesty)
Talking about scavenger hunting, you should follow Modesty’s blog to see all the stunning scavenger hunts she has posted. I just love the dresses she wears for them and the open (no pun intended) way in which she poses for the photos. Other than scavenger hunting Modesty blogs about her sexual adventures, about real world sex, sex toy reviews and she puts authoresses in the spotlight.

* Molly (@MollysDailyKiss)
I have admired Molly’s blog from the moment I started reading it. Molly is a wonderful, sexually open and sex positive person. I met Molly at Eroticon 2013 and she is just as much fun and sexy in real life than she is on her blog. Molly is a wonderful photographer and because of her I started doing a 365 project. Apart from her blog, Molly runs the Sinful Sunday meme, has created The Pussy Pride Project and is Editor in Chief of E[lust]. Besides all this, she’s also my 101 list buddy!

* The Lustful Literate
Brigit Delaney has been ‘off the scene’ (the blogging scene) for a while and I was thrilled when she returned again. This woman has a wonderful style of writing, whether it’s fiction or about her love and sex life with her husband. I have followed her for quite some time and will follow her for as long as she keeps on writing.

* Understanding Flutterby (@FlutterbyFlip)
Talking about having a way with words, then you should add Flip to that list too. She writes about her deepest thoughts, her deepest feelings and she does it in such a way that you feel like you’re in her head. You feel her pain, feel her confusion, feel her happiness. Besides her words, she posts the most beautiful and delicate photos.

You will notice that these blogs all appeared on my top 20 list too, but the fact that I have nominated these five does not mean they are my top 5 on my top 20 list. It only means that these five were not nominated for the Bad Girl Blogger Award yet and that they deserved to be nominated and recognized ‘bad girls’.
