I want to share another photo from our archives with you.
Two weeks ago I showed you my caterpillar photos.
But this is me too, back in July 2005.
I would love for my body to be just halfway between
what it is now and what it was back then…

Or maybe I should make a similar photo as the above and see if now is really as bad as I sometimes think it is?

The past and present images are all beautiful and so are you!

Thank you, Penny!
We women are our own harshest critics aren’t we? Remember you are the same person whether you carry extra poundage or not, it is our own perception of ourselves and our bodies that causes us the difficulties.
Often when I am having a particularly bad day I think about the artist Rubens he painted and celebrated the bodies of the women he painted which were not by any stretch of the imagination slim!
Celebrate your Rubenisk form it is beautiful!

Thank you so much sweetie! I have decided – and I hope I can see this through – to use the energy I use for dieting to just accept myself the way I am. Dieting just makes me unhappy and I bet I can be happy about my body. I like my body, but those bad days totally bring me down over and over again.
I will work on celebrating my Rubenisk forms 😀

Darling, you were beautiful then and you are beautiful now!
Take the comparison shot, celebrate your gorgeous curves.
Revel in the realisation that you are such a divinely sexual woman.
*blush* thank you so much, sexy!
I’d say take the comparison shot, I *bet* it isn’t nearly what you imagine! You look beautiful both in this shot and the “caterpillar” ones and I don’t think anyone could say otherwise! I bet you’ll surprise yourself with how good you look.
Indeed, I think I will surprise myself. I am quite curious now to see a similar shot of how I am now 🙂
You were beautiful then, you are beautiful now. If you want to take a shot like that one again, do it! But don’t use it to compare and make yourself feel bad, unless of course it will make you see, you’re just as beautiful now.
Thanks for your very kind comment, Mina. Indeed, I will make the comparison shot, but only to show that I am beautiful in my own eyes 😀
Rebel, Rebel, Rebel – remember Beautiful butterflies are but one step away from sexy caterpillars and you have proved the fact xxx
awww thanks for reminding me of that, Clive! xox
We’d love it if you posted a comparison shot. From what we’ve seen, your present-day body is nothing to be shy about!
I am certainly going to ask Hubby to make a comparison shot 🙂
I have some of my own body image issues, but truthfully, I am happier in my body (using my body in sexual ways) than I was ever before. You’ve obviously got it. Might as well rock it, even if it isn’t quite what you would like it to be.
And yes, your ass rocks!
Generally speaking I am happy with who I am and what I look like. As I said to Molly, I just sometimes have my ‘down’ days on which I doubt myself. Thank you for your sweet comments!
What Karen said…
very nice bottom there.
Thank you 🙂
Oh my darling Rebel… you were beautiful then and you are beautiful now. You are still that woman…. desirable, sexy, intelligent, passionate and beautiful.
Mollyxxx
Thank you luv. I guess all of us just sometimes have a ‘down’ day and then you start doubting yourself again. Generally I am happy about myself 🙂 xox
I’m sure your body looks as great now as it does there, if not better!
I might join in with Sinful Sunday one week
Thank you sweetie!
I agree you have an amazing ass.
Thank you! xox

Very true!
You look great then and now!
Thank you!
We are our own harshest critic. Yes, you look lovely there but I think you are gorgeous now 🙂
