Rori from Between My Sheets has come up with a brilliant idea: the Sex Blogger Post of the Year. This does not replace the Top Sex Bloggers list she does every year, but is a new, companion competition.
This is what Rori said:
The posts will be judged in three main categories:
Creativity – Is this an original take on the topic? Does your voice and style as a writer shine, or could it be a post from any blogger on any blog?
Quality – For erotica, do you make your words sing to pull us into the story? For op-ed, do you convey your message well? For educational, how helpful/valuable is the post for readers?
Mechanics – Is the post organized well with a beginning, middle, and end? Are there grammatical mistakes? Do you vary your word choice? Is the post easy to read from a technical standpoint (i.e. skimmable for an online audience, including images, etc.)
I have a couple of favorite posts of myself and would really appreciate if you would nominate one of the following posts:
But, I am not here to ask you to nominate only my own posts. Please consider nominating a post of one or more of the bloggers on my top 20 list of 2013 too. These are all blogs I frequently read and each of these writers deserve to be nominated too.
There’s a nominations for on Rori’s site where you can nominate posts in the following three categories:
Nominations close on 1 October 2014.
Thank you for taking the time to nominate one of my posts and that of any of the other bloggers!
PS: I have done my nominations:
Erotica: Two worlds
Op-Ed: Trigger warnings on books will censor emotional responses in the great reading experience
Educational/Review: The (not so) Ultimate G
