A winning streak

On 7 December I received a tweet from @BeingBlackSilk about an e-mail that she has sent me. That e-mail has never reached me, or rather, it got held back by the server of my hosting company. After I contacted them it took only five minutes for them to fix the problem. But by then I already knew what BlackSilk wanted to tell me. I have won a prize in her Fifth Bloggiversary Giveaway.

I have won a We-Vibe 3.

WeVibe3

The We-Vibe is a toy that I have looked at many times, but I never got to the point where I just clicked the ‘buy’ button. I have read several positive reviews, but still I did not go ahead and just bought it. One thing that definitely made me hesitate, was the price. This is no cheap toy and somehow I did not want to buy an expensive toy and come to the conclusion that it’s not what I expected it to be. However, knowing myself I think I would eventually have come to the point where I would have thought ‘what the heck‘ and would have just gone ahead to buy it.

Also, I have never entered any giveaway before. I have seen the giveaways on several blogs, but I have mostly just continued to the next blog, not taking the time to follow all the steps in said giveaway. And sometimes I did not participate because the giveaway was only for people in the US or the UK. The first ever giveaway I have entered, was this one of BlackSilk.

And there I was, the proud winner of a We-Vibe 3. It was like receiving an unexpected Christmas present. Very appropriate for the month of giving and caring.

But that was not the last of the unexpected Christmas presents I have received. After entering Blacksilk’s giveaway I stumbled across another giveaway on another blog I follow. I decided to enter again. Every evening that I switched my computer on, the screen with @pennysblog popped up. I tweeted about the giveaway and commented on a post. I have no idea how many evenings I have done this.

Then on the Saturday morning just before Christmas I slept in. While still in bed I checked my email. The first I saw was the email that alerted me about a new blog post on A Penny For Your Dirty Thoughts. Of course I was curious to see who has won Penny’s first giveaway. I squealed when I saw my own name in the blog post and only after that I saw the email that Penny had sent me.

I have won a set of Lelo Luna Beads Noir!

Thank you, BlackSilk and Penny, for hosting those wonderful giveaways! I bet I will have fun with the prizes I won and of course I will blog about it too in 2013!

And then on the last day of 2012 – I admit I only saw this on the first day of 2013 – ย I was mentioned on Red Inferno’s Blog as one of the sexiest blogs of 2012. This is Red Inferno’s personal list, but still I feel so very privileged to be mentioned on it and to be between all those other blogs, many of which I read and admire too. Thank you, Red Inferno, for the mention and I hope my blog can keep your attention for many years to come!

  1. Well done you! I have the we-vibe 3. We tried it together and it didn’t work for us, but separately it is entertaining. Nothing gets hubby off as quickly as holding that thing against his cock. Such a hoot!

    • Oh I will have to try that with my Husband too. I want to use it separately and together. I have to test it properly, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • A lucky streak must end at some time, but I will definitely be entering some more giveaways, if only to support the people who are so generous to host them ๐Ÿ™‚
